We usually do our spelling test on a Friday, however we took the time today to share learning with P4/5 about Robbie Burns instead. Miss Walker successfully read ‘The Ballad of Janitor Mackay’ and the children enjoyed listening and discussing some of the Scots words. These are the spelling words we will review on Monday, so any practice you can achieve over the weekend will be super for the children ‘s memory! We have looked at ‘y’ saying ‘ee’ this week. The words are:

Happy, scary, lazy, funny, lady, baby and keys. Remember we can also try to shrink or grow these words for extra challenge!
